Description

Future Comfort is a collaborative project between Melbourne fashion label Kloke, artist and designer Sarah Parkes (Smalltown), and joiner Roopacorp, a chair made entirely from timber offcuts and rope woven from Kloke's own textile remnants. It's a project rooted in a simple but urgent question: what if comfort was built from what we already have?

This Melbourne Design Week, we're inviting Sarah back into the store to share the process behind it. In this hands-on session, you'll learn the rope-making technique she used to construct the chair, work with reclaimed materials, and leave with your own piece of Kloke Rope.

The Future Comfort chair will be on display in-store throughout the festival, this is a rare chance to see it up close and go behind the making of it.
