Future Engineers Workshop

Junior Engineers is a high-energy, hands-on 2-hour workshop where students step into the role of junior engineers. Through fun STEM challenges, they’ll explore motion, magnetism, and electricity, turning science into an adventure they’ll always remember!

The day kicks off with a meet and greet with our enthusiastic Rangers before enjoying an interactive and engaging presentation.

Activity 1: Magnetic Cars - Students will explore magnetism by building and racing their own magnetic cars. Through experimentation, they’ll discover how magnetic forces can be used to push and pull without direct contact - perfect for building their understanding of physics in motion! 

Activity 2: Making Electric Windmills – Students will be put into pairs and tasked with converting natural wind energy to electricity. In this activity students will learn about complete circuits and the need for renewable energy. At the conclusion of this activity students will have a complete independently working electric circuit. 

What's Included- 1 x 2-hour workshop and 1 x kids meal (to be redeemed at our Folk restaurant during the School Holidays)
