Future Generation Summit | 26 October 2023
Event description
Join leading minds in investment, philanthropy and the community.
Please join us at the Future Generation Summit, a bespoke event where Future Generation's pro bono fund managers, social impact partners and thought leaders in the community will share the latest insights on investing and philanthropy.Â
Geoff Wilson AO, Founder and Director of Future Generation and Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of Wilson Asset Management will join a discussion with entrepreneur, author and humanitarian activist Dan Pallotta, whose TED Talk on philanthropy 'The way we think about charity is dead wrong,' has been viewed more than five million times.Â
After the Summit we are hosting a private screening of UnCharitable, a feature-length documentary led by Dan Pallotta and directed by Stephen Gyllenhaal, which exposes the dark side of philanthropy and introduces a radical new way of giving. In a powerful call to action, the film Uncharitable demands that charities be freed from the traditional sackcloth-and-ashes constraints, so that they can truly change the world.
Places to attend in person are limited so we encourage you to register. There will also be an option to attend virtually and a recording will be available following the event. We will email those who register virtually the livestream link week starting 23 October 2023.
