Future Makers Playshop 🍅 Urban Farm Theme 📍 Willoughby
Event description
An interactive eco playshop for 5-10 year olds about the magic of urban farms.
This eco play experience, facilitated by Be The Future and supported by Willoughby City Council, includes:
🌱 Interactive floor projector play: Use motion (hands, feet, props) to explore urban farming solutions and play food games.
🌱 Lego Play: Create a street with urban farms using piles of preloved Lego.
We'll also have our giant floor tree made from preloved fabrics that children can "grow" by throwing our giant dice and attaching handmade leaves and animals.
All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
📍 Location: The Pat Reilly Community Room, Willoughby Park Centre | 15 Warrane Rd, Willoughby East.
Booking essential! Limited spaces available. Please book for each child attending.
Cost: COMPLIMENTARY, however please ONLY book if you can make it. And if life happens and you can't make it anymore please cancel your ticket(s). We usually have waitlists eager to snap up last minute spots.
Accessibility: All physical abilities are welcome as the site is fully accessible. Please contact us for any special requirements, requests or questions.
What to bring: Socks, reusable water bottle, and plastic-free snacks for after the playshop. Children will be asked to take their shoes off for the playshop (and leave their socks on).
Photo Permissions: Please let us know at the start of the workshop if you would prefer your child(ren) not be included in photos taken on the day (photos to be used for promotional purposes only, we will make efforts to not show faces wherever possible).
