The Sunshine Coast is entering a period of significant change.

Over the next decade, the region will experience increased attention, investment and scrutiny — driven by major infrastructure projects, the Brisbane 2032 Olympics, growth in eco-tourism and sustainability-led development, and significant shifts in how Queensland Government spending supports local and regional businesses, amidst a pipeline of more than $35 billion in procurement and investment spend.

This doesn’t just mean more scrutiny.
It means more tenders, more partnerships, and more contract opportunities for local businesses who are ready to respond.

For small and medium businesses on the Sunshine Coast, this creates real opportunity — alongside new expectations. Increasingly, businesses are being assessed not only on what they do, but on how they operate: leadership, culture, capacity, inclusion, and credibility under scrutiny.

The question isn’t just “Can we deliver?”
It’s “Can we demonstrate that we’re ready, reliable and resilient when it matters most?”

This free webinar is designed for Sunshine Coast–based business owners who want to step back and ask an honest question:

Is our business actually ready for what’s coming next?

Hosted by Sunshine Coast locals
This session is hosted by Louisa Smith, founder of A Quiet Shift, and Carlos Velasquez, founder of SoundX. Together, they bring complementary perspectives on organisational readiness — combining internal leadership, culture and credibility with external readiness for procurement, partnerships and growth opportunities.

Together, we’ll explore:

What organisational readiness really looks like beyond paperwork
Common gaps we see as businesses grow and adapt
How upcoming procurement pipelines can become real opportunities
How to strengthen your business before opportunity knocks — without scrambling or overstretching people

This session is a practical, grounded conversation designed to help business owners gain clarity, understand where their business is strong or exposed, and decide what support may be useful as opportunities emerge.

A short follow-up survey will be shared via email after the session to support reflection and help shape next steps.
