Future Reefs Team – Opportunities for Impact Breakfast
Event description
This event will present the innovative work being undertaken at UTS by the Future Reefs Team. Marine Biologist and Future Reefs Team Leader Dr Emma Camp will be presenting how the innovative work being done by the team can help preserve and rebuild the "healthy reefs" of tomorrow. We will then hear from Dr Christine Roper, a postdoctoral researcher, about how the use of innovative technology, in combination with collective community action, can lead to the successful restoration of high-value reef sites like the Great Barrier Reef.
Join Us: Be a part of this dynamic conversation about restoring the Great Barrier Reef by attending the Future Reefs team breakfast on the 13th of August . Network with academics, industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to collectively explore avenues for preventing the loss of one of the planet's biggest living structures.
