Join us on the 21st of January 2025 for the Future Skills Educators Workshop, a full-day professional learning event hosted by Groei and BOP. This collaborative workshop will bring together educators to explore innovative teaching strategies that equip students with the skills they need to succeed in the ever-evolving future of work.

Throughout the day, attendees will engage in hands-on sessions that guide them through the design thinking process, hear from inspiring industry leaders, and collaborate with peers to create impactful learning experiences. Together, we’ll explore how to redesign curriculum and develop initiatives that foster key future-focused capabilities in students.

This workshop will also provide opportunities to build lasting partnerships with industry and the wider community, ensuring that the learning outcomes extend beyond the classroom and into real-world application.

When Is It?
The Future Skills Educators Workshop will be taking place on Tuesday January 21st 2024. The day will run from 9am - 3pm with attendees welcome to arrive from 8:30am.

What Can Our Attendees Expect?
Through workshops, seminars, and hands-on activities, attendees will have the chance to learn from education leaders and experts, as well as collaborate and network with colleagues from across sectors. This is a unique opportunity for educators to enhance their knowledge and understanding of intrapreneurship, innovation, design thinking, and career education, enabling them to teach 21st-century skills and work capabilities with confidence

Who Is Running The Day?

The Future Skills Educators Workshop will be facilitated by Scott Millar from BOP Industries and Tara Jacobsen from the Groei. Both Scott and Tara are innovative educators with over 10 years of experience each delivering innovative learning experiences in classrooms across the country. As seasoned facilitators, Scott and Tara will be guiding attendees through a design thinking process to design initiatives for their school community that build innovation skills and a culture of innovation.
