The Northern Integrated Family Violence Services (NIFVS) Family Violence Regional Integration Committee (FVRIC) invites members to attend the NIFVS FVRIC General Membership Meeting.
This meeting theme is:
Listening, Learning, Leading.
Lived Experience: Co-creating change in family violence systems in the north.
The event will be MC'd by Natalie Walker (she/they) who we are delighted to have as NIFVS FVRIC Independent Chair.

Venue: Aborigines Advancement League, 2 Watt Street, Thornbury
Time: 9.15 am to 4:45 pm
Tickets: There is no cost to attend.
What to expect
🔹 Lived experience performance – The meeting features a live performance of the work, "I want to tell my story"
🔹A lived experience panel – Explore what working meaningfully and intentionally with experts by lived experience means in our region
🔹Presentation by Juno about their Housing Safety Project
🔹FVRIC updates and an opportunity to meet the FVRIC leadership group
🔹Lunch and refreshments – Please note your dietary requirements during the registration process.

This event is open to staff of current NIFVS FVRIC member organisations.

- About the Northern Family Violence Regional Integration Committee
NIFVS provides leadership, advocacy and expertise to strengthen, integrate and improve the family violence system across Melbourne's North to help end family violence. Our vision is for a world where all people are equal, respected and thriving.
The Northern region has two service systems: North East Metropolitan and Hume/Merri-Bek.
Funding for the FVRIC is through northern metropolitan region organisation, Women's Health In the North, as approved by the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing.The FVRIC is a representative, whole-of-sector reference group comprising key stakeholders committed to reducing family violence in Melbourne’s North.
Participation in the FVRIC is open to individuals and organisations working in North East and Hume/Merri-Bek regions who are committed to reducing family violence in all its forms. NIFVS is committed to a collaborative, cross sector approach to support the integration of service responses.
