To celebrate, we're hosting G.O (GRAND OPENING) event on the new dates of Nov 14/15.

What?
2 buildings, 8 rooms and TWO ROOFTOP TRAINS!

Pick a door, any door!

Each room has a unique twist, from theme camp take-overs to cosy fluffy chill spaces to quirky and detailed art installations and 2 ROOFTOP TRAINS!

When?
Nov 14/15 - Friday night, Saturday day and Saturday night!

Main stage hosting incredible live bands
2 dedicated DJ floors with bone shaking bass, funk, house, techno and DnB.
A dedicated hip-hop and RnB floor, Dj/live freestyle
Open mic/Singer Songwriters floor
A dedicated cabaret floor

Trainscendence is accessed via an alley with uneven cobblestones, but has a lift which goes to every floor except the rooftop terrace and two large accessibility bathrooms. Thus, if folks who use a wheelchair navigate the laneway, the venue itself should be mostly accessible. Trainscendence feel it should go without saying that we do not tolerate bullying, racism, sexism, ableism or gender or sexuality-based harassment.

The place we now call 'Collingwood' is said to have been once known as Yálla-birr-ang by Wurundjeri. We pay respects to first nations. It is an honour and privilege to live and create on this unceded Aboriginal land, which knows tens of thousands of years of culture, storytelling and gatherings. As a nation, may we confront the full reality of our history as a part of moving forwards harmoniously.

It’s a pleasure to host you at Trainscendence. To ensure everyone’s experience with us is memorable for the right reasons, we ask you to respect the following House Rules.

ID AND BAG CHECKING

For licensed events, we may ask you to produce ID if you look under 25. Please take it as a compliment!

Our security personnel are empowered to exercise discretion in denying entry to any individuals deemed unsuitable for access. Entry will be refused to individuals exhibiting signs of intoxication, carrying hazardous or prohibited items, or engaging in disruptive or antisocial behaviour.

RESPONSIBLE SERVICE

We are committed to the responsible service of alcohol. If you appear intoxicated, or under the age of 18, we will refuse to serve you. This is the law and we have to follow it.

ZERO TOLERANCE

We want all guests to have a safe and enjoyable time. We are inspired by the ‘no dickhead’ policy of such events as Meredith Music Festival. They say: “In part it means looking after yourself and others. Just as importantly, it means treating each other with respect.” If you behave like a dickhead, such as intimidating others, disrespecting the venue or not respecting consent, then Trainscendence isn’t for you.

Anti-social, rude or aggressive behaviour, including not following directions of staff or security may result in you being asked to leave. Non-consensual behaviour will not be tolerated, and may result in you being asked to leave. Reports of repeat breaches may result in temporary or permanent exclusion from the venue.

REGARDING TICKETED EVENTS AT TRAINSCENDENCE

Trainscendence Pty Ltd reserves the right to make changes to the program and production of any event without prior notice or limitations.

Individuals denied entry to or removed from the event by management, security, or law enforcement,

for any reason, may not be eligible for a refund.

In the event that a scheduled event is postponed, ticket holders will be able to hold onto their ticket for the rescheduled event or apply for a refund.

Sneaking into ticketed events without a valid ticket is strictly prohibited. Any individual caught attempting to enter the venue without proper authorisation will be immediately removed from the premises by security personnel. Names and details of individuals involved will be recorded for documentation purposes.

THESE HOUSE RULES

These measures are implemented to ensure the safety, security, and enjoyment of all attendees at our events.

Management reserves the right to amend these House Rules at any time without prior notice.
