Gailla - Almost Gone - single launch show

Gailla presents the live show to launch her new single "Almost Gone", at 107 Projects, Redfern on Gadigal land

Gailla creates golden, homemade indie folk-pop songs that delve into stories on climate optimism & futurism whilst being grounded in the tradition of her first love - folk storytelling and mythology, as expressed through lilting melodies and an array of Old World instruments to help us remember our past in order to collectively imagine our future. 

Her new single, ‘Running On Our Own’ is a folk song about young people in the climate crisis. It’s an homage to the bond they share, the power they hold when they come together to fight for our world.
