Join us for the 2026 Inspired Dance Film Festival Gala, bringing our seventh festival season together for an afternoon celebrating extraordinary dance on screen and the artists who create it.

The Gala will feature a curated screening of finalist films from across the 2026 festival, culminating in the presentation of this year’s IDFF Awards. The finalist programme will be announced soon.

Across the afternoon, we’ll celebrate filmmakers, choreographers, dancers and creative teams from Australia and around the world, recognising work that demonstrates the breadth, imagination and possibilities of dance on film.

More than an awards presentation, the Gala is a chance for our community to come together, connect and celebrate another year of extraordinary screendance.
