Galentine's Day Paint & Sip
Event description
WHAT IS GALENTINE'S DAY:
For those who didn’t know, Galentine’s Day is a day we celebrate sisterhood, i.e., “Ladies celebrating ladies,” a term coined from the show Parks and Recreation. This is an afternoon to celebrate womanhood and sisterhood. Bring your friend, mother, girlfriend, or sister for a two-hour session of painting each other & indulge in delicious food, and make some mocktails and cocktails.
This is where you can let go and create for the sake of creating. No artistic experience is needed.
I will guide you along the way if needed, but this is for you to have fun be expressive & spend a date with the girlies!
WHAT IS CREATE & CONNECT:
I've created a space that allows you to make for the sake of creating and exploring this side of yourself.
We live in a world that doesn’t give us permission or opportunities to experiment with our creative side unless we create the time and space, which can be challenging for most people due to their life circumstances.
This is a 2-hour session that allows you to connect with this part of yourself and feed your cup while receiving encouragement and support. It is an invitation to get curious and explore your creative side!
WHO IS IT FOR:
Create and Connect is great for those-
- Anyone who wants to create and be artsy - no matter your skill set
- Who wants to start a creative hobby although life's a bit hectic to organise it all
- Someone who hasn't picked up a paintbrush or pencil in a long time and is craving that familiarity
- Creatives who are paralysed by perfectionism can't make 'bad art'. Come and make it here & play!!
- Anyone who is yearning for a space to connect with other creatives and others
The cost of the workshop will cover the materials, snacks and drinks for the day.
