The kids are back in school, and the ghouls are out to play because let’s face it- it is like we are being haunted by the ghost of fascism past, and we figured, what the heck, let’s start SummerWeen as early as mortally possible. We mourn hot war summer’s passing, the beautiful sunsets and the vitamin D we are so lacking here in Maine. At Enlighten ME Comedy, Maine’s premier production for comedy shows made for women by women, we believe and produce quality shows that are always highlighting some of the best and freshest comedians who for the majority do not identify as white cis-hetero men. ASHLEY FAVREAU has been described as deep, dark and disturbingly funny- Ashley’s sardonic voice & sense of humor is hued with notes of honesty and self-reflection that refracts back on society.

Featuring SARAH MATHER!!

Sarah Mather is a legend in the making, who has performed across New England. Sarah’s first attempt at stand up was in 2010, when she was awarded a large penis piñata for winning a comedy smut slam. Not wanting to tarnish her reputation, she took a long break before getting back into things over the last year. When she told her therapist she was going to be trying stand up again he told her “I just don’t see you that way” so now she performs out of spite.

Sarah primarily jokes about her failed attempts at dating, living in Russia and China, disabilities, and working in the field of special education.

JENN ROSE! Jenn’s rancorous yet subtle style is definitely for everyone but especially the person in your life who does not find anything funny. You put her on a microphone in front of the most miserable person and she is sure to make them bawl laughing. They occasionally will yell out, “That’s the funniest [expletive] I’ve heard all night!” Jenn’s motto is “My Truck Runneth Over”, she is a survivor and has found Jesus. She used to be a goddamn delight, now she is a God Blessed Delight after her baptism, recently. Jenn is a Jane of all trades and a ride or die for her friends. Catch her before she blows up because her stand up is set to be featured on Amazon Prime!

ROE ROBINSON!! ( This is her 1st show!! )

Roe is a 30 year old comedian who aims to making people chortle with a few jokes about her trailer park days and being gay. She lives in Bangor with her fiance, two weens,four cats and a big mean frog. She's in a Masters program at Husson to become a school based clinician so that she can get paid to nurture & bully the nations future adults.

KATY MOON!!

Katy Moon is what we refer to colloquially and affectionately as a “baby comic”, a few months in, fresh faced and full of the exuberance of life and friends we all miss! She comes with a lifetime of experience as a recovering Catholic from Bangor, Maine, sobriety and everyone’s favorite Subaru saleslady- she is not to be missed! She recently made her debut opening for some national headliners based in NYC at Empire Comedy Club. Check her out while she’s humble!!

MICHELLE LISI is a feminist comic, poet, and educator dedicated to disassembling the patriarchy, one bro at a time. Part goofball, part cynic, Michelle is a regular on line ups for Gals & Pals and Misfits shows in Portland. SHE ALSO CREATED B/TCH RIFF. Shout out to every fascist who inspires resistance with their tiny hands energy. You’re going down.

BRUCIE BRUCE- Louisiana native, observational humor, victim of an e-bike hit & run, blue collar, a PAL!

MALCOLM ARTHUR HENRY- absurdist, all around GENT and humble human being and hilarious local comedian, also a PAL!!

Self identified haunted hipster house, Cindianna Jones hosts!

Cindianna Jones has been performing stand up for well over a decade, mostly in Maine, though she has travelled. As a comic who also owns a uterus, she’s endured heckling throughout the years and has collected the scalps of her fallen foes and keeps them in little jars next to her dresser. No subject matter is too taboo, if you enjoy dark humor she’s your gal. Cindianna is a woman of many hats. She owns many pairs and won the grand prize for a poetry contest with Poetry Nation in 2019 (awarded in 2020) for her submission “Corn Dog”. (Sounds like a joke but is real.) Her forever project is manifesting becoming a full-time cat. She has also been described as “really [expletive] funny
