What does it sound like when we celebrate the many things that make us who we are — and the places, people and connections that make us feel at home?
This November, GALS – Auckland’s Rainbow Choir presents REFLECTIONS: The Way Home, an uplifting, engaging and unapologetically queer celebration of identity, belonging, connection and pride.
Home isn't always a place. Sometimes it's a person, a community, a memory, a culture, a place we call our own — or simply the feeling of being able to be completely ourselves.
Through music that is joyful, moving, cheeky and powerful, REFLECTIONS explores the stories, experiences and relationships that shape us and the things that make us who we are. It's a celebration of where we've come from, where we belong, and the many different ways we find our way home.
Expect soaring harmonies, big energy, plenty of heart and a healthy dose of GALS personality. There'll be moments that hit you right in the feels, moments that make you grin, and moments where you may find yourself thinking, “Well… I wasn't expecting THAT from a choir.”
It's a night about coming home to ourselves, celebrating each other, and finding belonging in all its wonderfully different forms.

We aim to make our events accessible. Please contact us ahead of time for any specific access requirements and we will do our best to accommodate you.
- Does my Baby / Child need a ticket?
Under 5's may attend for free, Children who are aged 5 and up require a Concession Ticket.
- Who qualifies for a Concession Ticket?
Gold Card holders, Students, and Children above the age of 5 and Unwaged people,
- What is included in a Family Pass?
A Family Pass provides you with 2x General and 2x Concession tickets at a discounted price - giving you more value for your group to attend.
- What is a Front Row (Side) Ticket
These seats are in the front row on the side, but may have a partial view restriction due to angle or staging. They still offer great sound and atmosphere at a lower price. Limited availability.
- What is a Supporter Ticket?
Supporter Tickets are a limited premium option with front-area seating, and recognition in our concert programme. This is a limited ticket which also helps support GALS and our journey to Perth.
- Will there be photography or filming?
Yes, the event may be photographed or filmed for promotional use. If you prefer not to appear, please let a team member know on arrival. You can also take photos or film, but we ask that you do not film entire pieces due to copyright, and turn off flash for any photos during the performances.
- Can I support the event even if I am not attending?
Donation Tickets are for anyone who wants to support GALS even if they can’t attend. Contributions help fund our work and our journey to Perth. You can choose a donation amount at checkout — every bit helps.
- Do I need to print my ticket?
No — digital tickets are accepted. Simply show your ticket on your phone at the door for entry.
- What time should I arrive?
Doors open approximately 30 minutes before the performance (around 7pm for this concert). We recommend arriving early to find your seat, enjoy the atmosphere, and avoid queues.
- What if I can’t attend?
Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled. You are welcome to resell your ticket to someone else if you cannot attend via your Humanitix account.
