Darryl Lovegrove - MC Host & Compare

Best known for his portrayal of ‘Jesus’ in Harry M Miller’s Jesus Christ Superstar, Darryl is also a past winner of the Australian Singing Competition and received an Australian MO Award nomination. He has appeared in Les Miserables, Chess, played ‘John Lennon’ in Looking through a Glass Onion and performed alongside Sarah Brightman and Anthony Warlow in The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber. Darryl is the co-creator of the operatic phenomenon ‘The Three Waiters’ which became a global brand and one of the worlds’ most successful corporate entertainment acts.

Dr Kate Ringvall - Topic (Circular Economy)

Kate has 20 years practical and academic experience in the three areas of sustainability – social, economic and environment. She spent 10 years in Academia teaching and researching urban and regional planning, in particular sustainable urban design, energy efficiency in building suburb design, sustainable transport and accessibility, mobility and people-centred cities.

Yemi Penn - Inspirational speaker

Self-made, single mother millionairess Yemi Penn is a name to note. Not just because she has achieved a level of business success unexpected, for a solo parent to two kids. But because the legacy she is intent on leaving in the world goes well beyond imparting business tools. Yemi Penn is living testament to the power of owning our story, stepping out of our shadow and finding our voice.

Debbie Haski-Leventhal – Professor of CSR and a TEDx speaker – Topic: Purpose Led Business 

A leading and awarded Professor of Management at Macquarie Business School, Debbie Haski-Leventhal is an expert on corporate social responsibility (CSR) and purpose-led organisations. She is the author of ‘Strategic CSR: Tools and Theories for Responsible Management’ (SAGE), The Purpose-Driven University (Emerald) and Employee Engagement in Corporate Social Responsibility (SAGE). Debbie is a TED speaker and a public speaker on purpose, social responsibility and the future of higher education. She has published over 50 academic papers and her work was covered by the media, including The New York Times. In this talk, she will unlock the concepts of purpose and meaningfulness in life and at work while sharing her inspirational story. 

Rebecca Rynehart -  Hartisann Pty Ltd

Rebecca is Coaching Psychology qualified, along with being both a Master NLP and Strengths Practitioner with a 20-year background working in the commercial sector. Having launched, led, and grown small teams and businesses, she is passionate about helping people leverage and play to their strengths, including those which are less obvious and yet very powerful. A background in Marketing and Leadership, she is the Founder of Hartisann Coaching and Consulting. Combining creativity with commercial acumen and an appreciation of human strengths, Hartisann focuses on helping businesses, brands and individuals reinvent themselves, align with their values, and shine.

Vanessa Song - CEO & Founder at Ypower Australia

Vanessa is a social entrepreneur and community builder. Her passion is connecting Young Australians with the opportunities they need to grow and thrive. Vanessa thrives on person to person connection and communication and prides herself on being a highly empathetic person. Vanessa has spent the last five years of her professional career working with Young Australians, in high-level organising roles in the NFP Sector, NSW and Australian Parliament and the Union Movement. After spending most of her professional career looking for mentorship and guidance to no avail she began to think more deeply about the root causes of her experiences. This led her to found YPower in early 2020.

Dr Manisha Amin - CEO Centre for Inclusive Design

Dr Manisha Amin is the CEO of the Centre for Inclusive Design (CfID), a social enterprise leading the conversation in the power of thinking from the edge. Manisha has over 20 yrs experience in strategic marketing, communication, transforming cultures and creativity. As the real and the digital worlds collide CfID help people to build and design products, services and policies that are as inclusive and useful for as many people. Manisha is also on the Board of ADHD Australia and is a published novelist.

Sarah Meredith - Global Citizen

Global Citizen's Australian Country Director, overseeing the movement's efforts in Australia since 2016. Sarah has been involved with Global Citizen Festivals in New York, London, Johannesburg and Montreal. Sarah comes to the role with more than 13 years experience advising a number of Australia's federal and state government Cabinet Ministers, Sarah will be sharing insights on the global movement and how the NextGen are galvanising for change.

Jo Obrien - Platinum Pre School

'Be Kind' is the motto for the Platinum Pre School group.

Jo O.Brien is changing the game with the next generation of leaders by embedding empathy, kindness and gratitude into early years. Jo is an ambassador for kindness and sustainable education. A community orientated local business owner who will be sharing her personal story of impact, resilience and change. Jo continues to drive forward by aligning her business to the sustainable development goals and is working to change the education system with a focus on a sustainable Next Generation.

Jack Jones - Banksia Project (The art of genuine connection)

Jack will be running a special workshop session on genuine connection and leadership. He currently runs a mental health charity called The Banksia Project that run evidence-based preventative programs in the community to enable participants to be healthier, happier and more resilient. Wellbeing is a hot topic for business success, and sustainability and Jack will touch upon key strategies for how to keep your team and yourself well and thriving.

Pamela Bishop - Blooms The Chemist

Pamela is a senior executive, experienced in management and leadership across retail; merchandise; brand; marketing and communications. As CMO, she leads the marketing and communications department at Blooms The Chemist, sits on the company leadership team, and heads up the CSR committee. Pamela will be sharing her story and WHY kindness in business is so important in leadership and the world right now.

Rob Caslick- Two Good Co.

The idea of connecting people through food has stuck with him since his grandmother introduced him to a soup kitchen at the age of 12.  In 2010 he founded an organic soup kitchen in Sydney's Kings Cross with the intention of bringing people together to share a meal.  The success of the soup kitchen led him to create buy one give one social enterprise Two Good Co as a way to scale the soup kitchen without having to fundraise.  Realising that their social impact was greater working with women who have experienced domestic violence, Two Good pivoted to focus on a mission to deliver good food and good things to every women’s safe house in Australia.  With the support of many great people and companies Two Good now collaborates with Australia’s top chefs to donate hundreds of meals each week, but what they are most proud of is that to make the meals, they employ women from the safe houses they serve.   Two Good has recently expanded into other categories such as toiletries, apparel and homewares.

Saarah Abdeen - Bambuddha NextGen Member

Saarah will be sharing her story of extreme inclusion and exclusion, her passion to create a sustainable and inclusive world and her take on how we can improve the otherness that we all face. Saarah is a Bambuddha ambassador for the NextGen of leaders, and we are so happy and privileged that she will join us to share her highs and lows at the Game Changers Gathering 2020.

Leigh Strass - Tedx Speaker Centre for Smart Green Cities

TEDx Speaker and thought leader, Leigh will be challenging us on an important topic: how much would you be willing to pay for shade? The Centre for Smart Green Cities is a collaborative hub that connects industry, government, researchers and the community to create liveable urban environments by inspiring change through evidence-based problem
