For over 10 years, they have been injecting modern sensibilities with hip-hop and soul into the jazz clubs of Toronto, Canada. Come on out and rock to soulful re-imaginings of songs from Kendrick Lamar, Kevin Gates, Fetty Wap, Chance The Rapper, Doja Cat, Trippie Redd, Roddy Ricch, Rae Sremmurd, and more.
Every performance is hot, pulling influences from Bluenote, Revive, and classic jazz with sensibilities to make any room bounce. game.set.trap is about the turn up, introducing trap-jazz in a definitive form since 2013, taking core inspiration from Ahmad Jamal & Oscar Peterson with a hip-hop tinge. For those who share love for hip-hop, soul, and jazz, this collective embodies it all.
game.set.trap is coming to Pittsburgh for a special night to present TRAP-JAZZ. Music will be 9:30pm. It's for the vibes and vibrations with trap-jazz beats, blazing solos, and singing and rapping along while hearing some of your favorite songs in a whole new approach.
