Girls’ Participation, Inclusion & Community Connection
Description
Girls’ Participation, Inclusion & Community Connection
Can your club meet changing and diverse participation interests?
As part of our Game On, Girls Capacity Building, this workshop supports clubs across WA to create safe, welcoming and inclusive environments for teenage girls.
Sport clubs play a vital role in their communities. This session will help you better understand the barriers impacting girls’ participation and explore practical, evidence-informed ways to make your club more inclusive and engaging.
Through guided discussion, you’ll consider who your club is reaching, who may be missing out, and how inclusive approaches can strengthen your club’s impact, connection, and sustainability.
Led by Professor Dawn Penney, this workshop draws on extensive research and experience to support meaningful, lasting change in sport.
