Description

Are you a secondary teacher interested in creative and games-based pedagogies? Would you like to play a storytelling game, and test English teaching and learning resources?

Join a group of researchers and designers at the University of Sydney to trial a new game called 'Wishmakers'.

Wishmakers focuses on building belonging, connectedness, and creative capacities in the classroom. We invite teachers to provide feedback on our game and accompanying teaching and learning resources. Our learning activities are designed for Year 7-10 English classes.

Your feedback will help shape innovative new teaching strategies, designed to build students' English skills as well as encourage them to have richer, more inclusive conversations.

Participants will be compensated for their time.

We'd love to hear from:

  • Secondary English teachers

  • Pre-service teachers

  • Educators interested in game-based pedagogies

Please note that registrations close at 5pm on Friday, 10 July.
