Games Career Pathways 2025
Event description
Games Career Pathways
Join us for an evening of networking & insightful discussion as we explore the many pathways that lead to a career in game development.
We'll be kicking things off with a panel discussion about the ups and downs of a career in game development that will both offer practical advice about breaking into industry but also explore the journey of our panelists and the lessons they learned about the importance of integrating creative experimentation in your practice, finding your place in the world and surrounding yourself in a community that supports you.
This will be followed by an evening of industry networking where attendees, panelists and local industry can connect, have a drink and enjoy some delicious food.
The event will be catered and drinks are complimentary.
All are welcome! Tickets are FREE, but registration is essential.
This event was made possible thanks to City of Port Phillip and City of Melbourne's generous support of the Smart Program and the local game development community.
