We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the country throughout Australia and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters, and culture. We pay our respects to their Elder's past, present, and emerging. Above all, this is a safe space. Anti-social, micro-aggressive, or non-consensual behaviour has no place at this event and will not be tolerated.

GARBAGEtv is an event where everyone who decides they want to attend can be confident that they will feel included and need your help to do it. Everyone is entitled to have a good time and feel 100% comfortable.

Please feel free to contact us directly if you have any special needs or any questions.

On the night if you need anything please approach James (They/Them), bar staff, or DJ's directly.

We will be introducing another safe person to this event who if for any reason need need some one they and James will be approachable on the night to help you.

GARBAGEtv is and has always been fun, friendly, and energising. We sincerely hope that everybody who attends feels the ability to enjoy themselves freely, without judgment or inhibition.

This means showing respect and appreciation for all of our peers and fellow event-goers, especially those part of marginalised groups in society.

Communities such as LGBTQ+ and BIPOC have long struggled to find spaces that feel safe, comfortable, and equal - Which some may take for granted.

We believe it is the moral responsibility of all attendees of GARBAGEtv to uphold these values to ensure a welcoming space for all.

Security staff, DJ’s and bar staff will also be in place to help things run smoothly - threatening, aggressive, predatory, or discriminatory behavior will not be welcome here.

The Rechabite has wheelchair access, this is one of many reason we hold events here. If you need any thing or help please contact us and we will be more than willing to help with what ever requirements needed.

***THANK YOU AND DON’T STOP THE DANCE***
