    Swing Into the arvo with our live Jazz show

    Get ready to be enchanted by the magic of jazz and join us for an unforgettable afternoon filled with smooth melodies, soulful improvisations, and the irresistible rhythms of live jazz music. All in a gorgeous outdoor picnic setting at MarkJoeHope Music.

    Bring your favourite drinks and seating & nibbles will be provided!

    Experience the sultry sounds of Velvet Rhythm with Corina Coll – Reyes(vocals/keys), Anna Basterfield-Goves(bass), Julian Hope(drums). We are set to play some eclectic jazz pop from Aretha Franklin, Amy Winehouse and authentic Venezuelan bossa nova to name but a few. Guest star Brandon Bently on vocals.

    We will also showcase Brisbane’s Jazz Music Institute (JMI) with some of the finest young musicians in Australia. The Julian Hope Quartet will be performing classic jazz standards with Zachary Spiro on guitar, Isaac Worland on double Bass and Baxter Birrell on keys.

    MJH Music School Teachers Jam Session. Our teachers are all professional performers and are the top in their field. Come and enjoy some serious interaction between the best musos around as they improvise over contemporary jazz tunes.
