Healthy Garden Series - Pruning Perennial Food Plants

This workshop will cover the basics of pruning, such as; types of pruning, why, how & when to prune as well as the use & care of tools. The session will include theory, demonstration and practical skills with the opportunity to practise pruning on a variety of plants in a small space setting. You will learn how to prune to help promote the health and productivity of your plants.
Who: This workshop is provided free to residents of the Inner West local government area. This is presented by the Inner West Green Living Centre, an initiative of Inner West Council and as numbers are limited, the workshop gives preference to residents of Inner West Council area. Search by address at Find Your Local Council - Office of Local Government NSW website to find your local government area, if you're unsure. Proof of residential address will be required. Please join the waitlist if you live outside the area and we will let you know if a spot becomes available.
Accessibility: If you have any access or support requirements in order to participate fully please let us know. The site is accessible via paved pathways with a slight slope from street to buildings.
