Event description

Is your garden getting a bit out of control with this SEQ summer weather? Keen to get out there but your tools are all rusty? Join me and a small group of women (max 5) for an afternoon of learning and walk away with the knowledge and confidence to sharpen and maintain your garden tools. I will demonstrate how to dismantle, clean and sharpen the tools and then you will sharpen few of your tools with my guidance. The tools I will demonstrate are secateurs, loppers, hedger, chainsaw, spade and axe. I encourage you to bring along a few tools from home (not limited to that list) and we will get them shiny, sharp and read to tackle that greenery!

This workshop is great for new or experienced gardeners.

All materials provided. Please wear closed-toe shoes.

Women ages 16+, if you're under 18, please come with an adult.

Located at the gorgeous Fairhill Nursery in Ninderry. Tea and coffee provided and the opportunity to purchase food from their amazing cafe.

Please note we will use a pole chain saw. A regular chain saw requires it's own training.
