Event description
Workshop participants will now need to provide evidence of their full vaccination status or medical exemption in order to participate in on-site classes from 6 pm, 29th October. You will need to check in with our QR code and masks will need to be worn indoors. If you have a valid medical exemption, please get in touch asap. All CERES staff and contractors on site have met vaccination requirements.
Description
Feel that you are missing out on growing your own veggies and herbs due to lack of space? By using containers, pots and vertical space you can transform a balcony, courtyard, patio or windowsill into a hugely productive garden.
In this hands on workshop you will learn how to maximise your small space to create an abundant oasis of food, herbs and ornamentals.
Trainer Bio
Clare is horticulturist and permaculturist drawing her knowledge from studies of urban horticulture at Burnley (Melbourne University), permaculture design courses and a range of experience within the field. She has worked on farms and permaculture projects across the world, currently setting down roots in Melbourne by running a small market garden in Alphington and free ranging within the field. Clare is passionate about gardening and its power to enact positive change within the world.
