“Goin’ North” is the second single for Yandina (formerly Brisbane) troubadour Gareth B. Graham, an ode to the feeling of liberation the highway can bring, and the pursuit of love at the other end of the journey.
Gareth when performing solo has become known to audiences for singin’ romantic folkie ditties soaked in wistful charm & playful reserve. “Goin’ North” is a step outside of this image, painted with colours of saloon blues piano and an almighty frustrated sigh.
On Thursday February 29th, Gareth rolls back into town to play the blues with his band “The Constellation Band” for the first time in Brisbane. Performing at one of the finest venues in the big smoke - It’s Still a Secret.
Joining Gareth & The Constellation Band on the show are fellow Sunshine Coast legends Demi Casha (also performing with her band) and Greasy Bennett!
All in all a night of folk and electric blues to cool the weary mind, ignite the skin and warm the heart!
