Trash-Free DC is a citywide campaign to reduce littering and trash pollution, funded by the DC Department of Energy and Environment and led by Ward 8 Woods Conservancy.

Garfield Heights/Buena Vista/Knox Hill/Woodland is one of five neighborhoods where we'll be focusing our efforts to change perceptions and habits.

Join us on Saturday, May 2 as we launch the campaign by cleaning up trash hot-spots and awarding gift-cards to neighbors who dispose of their trash the right way though "Litter Can Lotto."
