Event description

Explore Garvey Park at night with local expert Joe Tonga of Natsync Environmental (Perth’s own “batman”).

Garvey Park is home to an abundance of nocturnal animals, including the brushtail possum, motorbike and slender tree frogs, microbats, quendas, and owls. During Kamabarang we see an abundance of wildflowers and our native fauna begins to wake up after the colder months.

Take a walk through their habitat, learn about their night-time lives, and spot a creature or two!

Perfect for wildlife lovers young and old. Spots are limited - so get in quick!

Helpful information:

The nightstalk will take you through wetlands areas, so please wear enclosed shores, long pants, and bring a torch.

Parking will be made available at the Tibradden Circle - Hay Road entrance to Garvey Park. Follow signage to the meeting point adjacent to the parking area.

Children under the age of 16 years need to be supervised by a parent/guardian.
