Sun, 8 Dec, 3pm - 6pm ACDT

Event description

Join us for our final gathering of the year, a sacred pause before the year comes to a close. This is the space in between—the place where endings meet new beginnings. A time for reflection, clearing, and consciously gathering the wisdom of the year that was, while creating space for new possibilities. This gathering invites you back into your body, into your heart, and guides you back to your centre.

In this 3-hour immersion, we’ll slow down and turn inward. Amid the busyness of the season, it’s easy to get swept up in the festivities, but imagine what it would feel like to intentionally press pause—taking time to deeply listen to the whispers within.

Maddison will guide you through a nourishing yin yoga sequence that supports the movement of qi, tending to all the body’s channels and organs, leaving you feeling balanced, restored, and grounded. Along with yin yoga, we'll journey through meditation, qi gong, and other gentle practices to regulate your nervous system and bring you back to a state of ease.

What to Expect:

  • Grounding & intention setting
  • Meditation
  • Connection exercise
  • Qi Gong

About the facilitator:

Maddison embarked on her wellness journey six years ago in Ubud, Bali, where she completed her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training. This pivotal experience opened her eyes to a new perspective on life, igniting a deep passion for ancient practices and a thirst for continuous learning. Exploring various modalities such as Meditation, Yoga Nidra, and Philosophy, she broadened her understanding and honed her skills. Additionally, Maddison attained Reiki 1 & 2 certifications, delving deeper into the realm of energy healing.

It was the practice of Yin Yoga, however, that truly captured Maddison's heart. Recognizing its profound healing and transformative potential, she embraced it with deep reverence. Witnessing the subtle yet powerful impact it had on her students, Maddison's journey led her to delve into the teachings of Chinese Medicine. This exploration prompted her to pursue a year and a half of study to become an Acupuncturist at university.

Guided by an inner calling, Maddison continues to follow her path with unwavering trust in her intuition. Her current passion lies in cyclical living and empowering women to understand and honor their menstrual cycles, helping them live in alignment with their natural rhythms. Through her dedication to holistic wellness and education, Maddison seeks to inspire others to embark on their own transformative journeys towards health and balance.
