Event description
GATHER at Mossy Willow Farm with chef Simone Watts
Food. Thought. Community
GATHER brings together three Mornington Peninsula locals of like mind – encouraging, educating and inspiring others about ethical and sustainable food choices - Danny Almagor, owner of Mossy Willow Farm and CEO Small Giants, farmer and chef Simone Watts, from Barragunda Estate and Fiona Hammond, author of GATHER cookbook. They have collaborated to create a unique event and invite you to a shared feast in the barn at Mossy Willow Farm.
Guests experience a long lunch prepared by Simone and Fiona in an idyllic rural and intimate dining space, celebrating seasonal flavours from the seas and paddocks nearby, whilst listening to local farmers Jason Cotter of Tuerong Farm, plus Sophie O’Neil and Mark Brancatisano of Torello Farm, talk about their experiences growing nourishing, food ethically and sustainably.
You’re invited to join us on March 21st for lunch from 12.30pm.
Seating is limited. Book early. Lunch includes local wines (delicious non-alcoholic options also available)
