This day is designed for you to meet and release what you are holding beneath the surface, to find your voice and be held in community, you don’t have to carry this alone.
In traditional cultures, grief was a communal experience. It belonged to the village.” ~ Francis Weller
Through the act of being given a tending space, the sorrow we are holding frozen can begin to move and what has been silent can begin to find a voice..
This day is a return to a practice as old as culture and a remembering that grief belongs in community.
Through sound, voice, and creative ritual, we will enter a shared field where sorrow is welcomed.
You will be gently guided to:
* Listen inwardly to what is asking for attention
* Give expression to what has been held through sound, breath, and voice
* Be witnessed in your experience, without needing to explain or fix it
* Sit in the presence of others, allowing connection to do its work
* Integrate what arises, so you leave more grounded and resourced
There is no pressure to share and no expectation to perform.
Only an invitation to participate at your own pace.
Why this matters.
When grief is not given space It turns into disconnection, reactivity, loss of meaning and belonging.
But when sorrow is welcomed when it is felt, expressed, and held in community something changes.
When we connect to the current of grief we connect to the current of belonging and love
Enough to feel more alive, more connected and enough to meet the world as it is, without turning away.
This space is for you if you:
* are carrying a quiet heaviness you can’t quite name
* feel the weight of personal or collective grief
* are moving through change, loss, or transition
* feel disconnected from your voice or sense of self
* long for a space where you don’t have to hold it all alone
You do not need a clear story.
Only a willingness to arrive as you are.
We will move gently and intentionally through:
* Opening ritual and grounding
* Sound and voice practices to support expression
* Guided processes for accessing what sits beneath the surface
* Time for witnessing and shared presence
* Integration and closing.
In a world that pulls us toward urgency, distraction, and disconnection, to pause and feel is not a small thing. The most radical thing any of us can do at this time is to be fully present to what is happening in the world.” — Joanna Macy.
To come together and tend to what is here is a powerful act of care.
For ourselves, for each other and for the soul of the world
