Sri Gauranga appeared in India over 500 years ago and inaugurated the congregational Kirtan movement – the practice of mantra meditation – the most powerful and sublime of all yoga processes - which is now spreading throughout the world.

This practice of Kirtan meditation has transformed many lives and helped many to live a life full of meaning, purpose and happiness. So we have planned a fun kirtan party!

Let's get together for joyful chanting, dancing and feasting and take the opportunity to remember, express gratitude and celebrate the wonderful life and appearance of Sri Gauranga Mahaprabhu, who freely shared this easy, joyful and sublime process of meditation and self-realisation with everyone.

Sri Gauranga simply asked whoever he met to sing the sweet divine names of the Supreme Soul, dance with abandon and enjoy the perfect happiness of spiritual love. He plundered the storehouse of love for the Supreme, tasted the sweetness himself and distributed it to everybody without discrimination.

Sri Gauranga glorified Kirtan as; “The prime benediction for humanity because it spreads the rays of the benediction moon, it increases the ocean of transcendental bliss and enables us to taste the nectar for which we are always anxious.”
