Gawler Quilting Circle 40 year Reunion

It is almost 40 years to the day that the film Quilts in Women’s Lives was shown in the Reading Room of the Gawler Public Library and attracted a room full of enthusiastic attendees. This event became the catalyst for the formation of the Gawler Quilting Circle which is still going strong today.

Join us for an exhibition of items produced by the group that are now housed in the Gawler Heritage Collection and a showing of the original film, followed by a light lunch. Memories will be shared of those early days and what has been achieved since.  It will be a celebration of creativity and social connectiveness across 40 years.

Please help us to reach out to former members and invite them to join us for this special occasion. RSVPS are to be made via booking a seat for lunch.  For further information please contact Helen Hennessy- helen.hennessy@internode.on.net
