You'll be one of 30-70 hotties and this one is for the gays, meaning the night's attendees will be split into: queer women and gay men. Transgender, non-binary and gender diverse people comfortable slotting in with one of these groups are encouraged, as are non monog and polyam babes.

We'll have heaps of conversation cards with all the most important first date Qs like "Is Pedro Pascal your daddy too?" and "Which disney villain would you fuck?" as well as a competition to submit your own, where you can win a $50 bar tab!

FAQs

Will I date everyone?

Not usually, no. There will be between 30 and 70 people, however you'll only go on around 14 dates. There'll be ample time throughout the event to chat to people that you won't date though, so please don't be shy. You don't need to be sat at a table to have a nice convo.

What if I'm bisexual/pansexual or I don't conform to the gender binary?

Unfortunately we can't cater to everyone in the same space on the same night, so we've decided to alternate each month between a gay/sapphic split and a pan/bi everyone-dates-everyone event. If you're comfortable being grouped with the gay men or queer women, you are absolutely welcome to come along to this one even if you don't identify as either, and just choose the group you feel best aligns with your current interests/attractions. And if not, we encourage you to wait for the next everyone-dates-everyone event.

Can I buy a ticket on the door?

We recommend buying tickets online, but you can do this right up until 7.30pm on the night of the event (assuming the event hasn't sold out).

Is there an age range?

We don't have an age policy but to give you a guide our demographic is usually people in their 20s and 30s, with most attendees sitting between 25 and 35.

Do I get free drinks just for showing up?

Nah. A lot of speed dating companies build 'free' drinks into the ticket price, but we'd rather keep prices accessible and let you decide how much or little you'd like to drink on the night.

How much privacy will we have?

We'll have the exclusive use of the rooftop - no lurkers, only ticket holders!

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes, that's fine. If you can let us know of any name changes prior to the event it's always appreciated.

What's your refund policy?

Refunds are available up to 7 days prior to the event. This is an automated process that can be carried out via Humanitix and no reason is needed. Otherwise:

Stuck at Work/Something Came Up - If you can no longer attend the event for reasons other than illness, you will need to let us know a minimum of 4 hours prior to the event start time in order to receive a transfer to the next event. We are able to transfer your tickets once only, to the next event only, and there will be no transfers or refunds after the first transfer.

Covid-19/Flu - If you are experiencing cold or flu symptoms or test positive for Covid-19, you can let us know at any point up until the event start time and we will transfer your ticket(s) to the next event or, if you're unable to make that date, issue you a credit voucher for future use.

We won't be able to offer you a transfer/credit voucher for any reason if you are a no-show/don't contact us until after the event has started. The nature of the event means we're heavily reliant on numbers, so please be conscious of this and give us as much notice as possible.
