Keep Pride going strong with "Texas Pride: Everything is Gayer in Texas". Hosted by Jess Elgene & Lexee Leach, this show features Texas trivia, prizes, comedy, live music, drag, and more with a lineup exclusively made up of LGBT+ folks with Texas ties. Ticket sales will benefit the Transgender Education Network of Texas (TENT). Many of us have a complicated relationship with the Lone Star State. It’s the place we first found ourselves and our people, but in many cases it’s also the first place we were made to feel shame about who we are. That changes at Asylum NYC. We're breaking out the rainbow lassos and reclaiming our roots. Texas Pride is a PARTY where we can all laugh it off, connect with other Texans and allies (Oklahomans welcome), and sing country music at the top of our lungs with no fear of judgment. Ten gallon hats and cowboy boots strongly encouraged!
