GBC + OneCanopy Present: A Family Friendly Environmental Stewardship Event

Join us for a family friendly morning of learning and saving the planet with good people!
In 2023, GBC, set out to track the emissions generated from the events we hosted and participated in. With the support of two GBC members - Odyssey, which provided project coordination and created the impact report, and Acylmate, which provided the technology platform that helped GBC track emissions, we successfully completed the project! We are now bringing the project full circle!
GBC has partnered with another member organization, OneCanopy, to offset the environmental impact of our 2023 events by purchasing 200 native conifer tree seedlings to be donated for reforestation of the Cameron Peak Fire (or other Colorado) burn scar.
At this event, we will complete various volunteer activities to support the conservation nursery, and learn more about the GBC environmental impact report and the efforts of OneCanopy. We'll have activities curated for the kiddos to teach them about environmental stewardship and how they can help save planet earth.

OneCannopy: (one-canopy.com) OneCanopy aims to be a premier partner across the entire conservation and reforestation pipeline, beginning with the establishment of the OneCanopy nursery and seedling tree program. We are equipped to grow more than a million seedlings for reforestation efforts annually within our 34,000-square-foot greenhouse and surrounding property.
