Looking for a fun way to meet new people? Come join us for a casual bite to eat and a stroll along the sand. Find yourself a wing-person; someone to accompany you at future events. Meet up with Brisbane and Gold Coast locals (and those who visit from further afield) for a relaxed afternoon of meaningful connections, followed by a bit of physical activity by the beach.

WHO GOES?

Our events usually attract fun-loving professionals, experienced travellers, those who enjoy outdoor activities, (most tend to lean left politically), people with an interest in health or personal development, and ALL prefer extended face-to-face conversations (as opposed to swiping, typing, night clubs or speed dating).

"Lunch & Beach Walk" is designed to connect you with like-minded people through sharing a mutually enjoyable experience. This event is best suited to people within the age range of late 20's to mid 50's and those who consider themselves "young-at-heart". Note: majority of people attending are single.

FACILITATORS / MODERATORS / HOSTS

Your hosts for the morning/afternoon are the effervescent Sarah and Gold Coast local, Daynia. Sarah loves meeting new people and has been passionately hosting social gatherings since 2015. She will ensure you feel welcome and included during the Zoom call. Her role is to facilitate connections between guests on Zoom making it easier for you to meet up in person later on. So, you'll arrive as strangers, and leave having made new friends. Daynia will look after you once you're at the event. Keep an eye out for her.

BONUS: Sarah is also a matchmaker, and always keeps an eye out for potential matches for her premium clients.

PRE-EVENT PREPARATION

Prepare two truths and one lie to share with the group for the ice-breaker activity at the lunch. This helps everyone overcome the fear of starting conversations with strangers... allowing you to easily slip into chit chat after we've all shared our stories.

Watch the video below to learn more about playing two truths and one lie. NOTE: Sarah doesn't condone lying in real life... just when playing this game :)
