Bounce in to the GC Slam these school holidays to shoot some hoops and develop your basketball skills at our custom built half-court in The Laneway. Whether this is your first time playing or you're a LeBron James in the making, we've got a class for you!

Hosted by Basketball Queensland, you'll be in good hands with the best of Brisbane teaching you how to master the fundamental skills of basketball.

Every participant will have the opportunity to win a MVP gift bag and merchandise from the Brisbane Bullets!

When: Monday 23 September - Friday 4 October

Cost: $5 - upon arrival kids will be gifted with a Westfield Garden City GC Slam Basketball cap valued at $29.95

Required: Please ensure that you arrive 10 minutes prior to your booked session. Please ensure kids are wearing appropriate clothing and footwear, bring a water bottle, wear sunscreen and wear a hat.

Class Breakdown

FUNdamental Sessions | Ages 12 and under | These sessions are exciting, energetic and provide kids with a fun foray into the sport of Basketball! 100% skill and 0% competition. No previous experience required.

Drills 101 | Ages 15 and under | In this session players will be taught essential skills as well as footwork and how to pass under pressure. 70% skill and 30% competition. No previous experience required.

Tip-Off Time | Ages 17 and under | Elevate your skills to the next level in these high performance sessions. Players get the opportunity to fine tune spacing and movement skills and play 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3. Each of these sessions will be run by a high-level team of coaches. 50% skill and 50% competition. Players required to have a moderate level of existing skill and experience.

Girls only session | Ages 9 - 13 years | These sessions are exciting, energetic and provide kids with a fun foray into the sport of Basketball! 100% skill and 0% competition. No previous experience required.
