GEAR up- Girls RoboRave LEGO Robots Workshop
Event description
RoboRave is one of Australia’s biggest robotics competitions and it is coming here to the Sunshine Coast on the 30th of May. These holidays, come and build on the robotics skills needed to win these competitions.
Designed for girls aged 7-15, this workshop will teach the fundamental skills needed for all competitions including:
- Sumo
- Line-follow
- Mazes
- Jousting
While also fostering a comfortable and fun environment for girls only!
There will be heaps of fun and exciting activities to build on your skills which can be used in all areas of robotics.
BYO Laptops- Download the software from https://education.lego.com/en-... (we will be using the new EV3 Software for this workshop) If you are not able to BYO, email us and we can hire one for you.
Robots will be provided by us for this workshop!
No prerequisite knowledge is needed as we will touch on everything you need to know during the workshop! We hope to see you there on the 12th of April, 9am-1pm.
