Join us for an evening of celebration, reflection, and inspiration as we mark 36 years of Gecko Environment Council!
We’ll begin the night with Gecko’s 36th Annual General Meeting, where members can hear updates from the past year, celebrate our achievements, and welcome the incoming Management Committee for 2025–2026.
After formalities, stay for our special guest speaker, Professor Catherine Pickering, a highly regarded ecologist, researcher and Griffith University academic. Professor Pickering will share her insights on ecotourism, recreation and conservation in protected areas, drawing from her extensive research into human-nature interactions and biodiversity protection.
