    Event description

Currumbin Estuary Master Plan Circuit is part of the Gecko Walks series and takes the community for a walk along the picturesque Currumbin Creek.

The walk visits significant locations along the estuary, celebrating the area's natural beauty and significance, its community heritage and history, and explores how we can shape the future of this important area. The walk is part of broader community action to secure a master plan for the estuary and includes expert speakers on vegetation, history, community involvement, and planning.

Discover the rich history of community action that has been instrumental in protecting the Currumbin Estuary. This is not just a walk but a chance to be part of the vision of 7 local community groups, who are working tirelessly to safeguard this unique and irreplaceable community asset for the future. Join us in shaping the next chapter of our Estuary's story!
