GeekLifeRules: NY Cosplay Cabaret - 6th Anniversary Cabaret

GET YO' GEEK ON!The NY Cosplay Cabaret celebrates 6 years of bringing Geeky, goofy, musical madness to cosplayers and fans as we kick off our return to regular IRL shows for 2024.

We're bringing back several of the original Cabaret #1 cast members joined by all-new performances for a night of old favorites and new memories.

Hosted by New York multi-hyphenate entertainers and cosplayers Lawrence Neals (GeekLifeRules), Kate Hoover (Sonyo Theater) & Cat Smith (Trek Long Island, Frenchwoods Performing Arts Camp)

ABOUT US: Featuring cosplayer performers of all kinds performing from and parodying their favorite pop-culture series, comics, movies, musicals, games, and more, the NY Cosplay Cabaret is a live cabaret show based in NYC and has been also been featured among the events for Star Trek: Missions, Keystone Comic Con, West Wing Weekend, MISTI-Con, Wizard Retreat Weekend and New York Comic Con among others for over 5 years.

The NY Cosplay Cabaret switched to a virtual format during the pandemic. In its virtual form, they have done dozens of shows, and branched out to be included in several virtual conventions (Concellation 2020, Virtual Trek Con, WHOLanta) and welcomed a whole new circle of friends and fans, including both performers and audience members from all over the U.S. and half dozen different countries. And this is all while continuing to help raise awareness and funds for various charities and those in need via GeekLifeCares! 

They returned to live performances psot-pandemic with SOLD OUT shows at Don’t Tell Mama & The Producer’s Club and a featured panel for New York Comic Con 2022.   You can follow them at @geekliferules and @nycosplaycabaret on all social media platforms.
