Geelong Urban Design Walking Tour
Event description
Join former Manager Urban Design & Heritage at City of Greater Geelong for a walk and talk about past, current and future developments around Central Geelong.
The tour will commence at Wurriki Nyal with Jonathon Daly discussing development plans in and around the immediate area.
You will then walk to Bayley Street, for an exploration of the former wool buildings and overview of the impending development including the Convention Centre on the Waterfront.
Continuing up Gheringhap Street, crossing the lights at Malop Street, walking down the Green Spine.
Walking through to the Mall for discussions around the proposed development for Market Square.
Walking back through the Mall and cross Mooroobool Street. Exploring Little Malop Street Dining area.
Finally, you will walk through the Cultural Precinct, with the tour concluding at Johnstone Park.
