Gelli Printing
Event description
This is a beginners workshop on Gelli Printing where participants will learn how to make one-off monotype prints with gelatin plates. Our instructor, Sky Tanner, will guide participants through the process and then allow individuals to create monotype prints at their own pace. This process is easy and simple to learn for any age group or skill level.
Monotype printmaking is a quick and simple process. Gelli printing is a unique printmaking process, typically painterly in its execution, made by applying paint or printing ink to a flat sheet of metal, glass, or plastic.
Lean into this expressive, collage-like process where no mistakes can happen! Participants will leave the workshop with 2-5 prints that they created.
The workshop is free and open to all but space is limited.
