After touring the globe and around her home country of Australia, Gemma returns to WA with her band “The Highway Boys”. Country music is a part of Gemma’s core and she has performed at some of Australia’s biggest festivals including Tamworth and the Gympie National Music Muster, as well as supporting various well known country artists. She has been a top 10 charting artist on Foxtel’s Country Music Channel, graced the airwaves of various radio stations around Australia and received numerous awards and accolades including Music Video Of The Year, People’s Choice Award, Best New Talent, National Songwriter’s Award and Best Female Vocal.

In a remarkable span of twelve months Gemma Luxton’s star has risen to extraordinary heights, captivating audiences in theaters whilst cruising across the globe, appearing on international television screens and commanding the grand stages of stadiums. Significant and memorable moments of her career include performing the Australian National Anthem for the Australia vs. West Indies Cricket Test, being invited to appear as a guest on Channel 10’s Studio 10 with Australia’s #1 Adele Tribute – “Rolling In The Deep: Adele Tribute ” and supporting Thirsty Merc to sold out audiences. Gemma has also left her mark as the post-game entertainment for State of Origin and as the pre-game entertainment for international rugby league stadium games.

Gemma has solidified her place as one of Australia’s most sought after entertainers, with regular performances at local west australian country music venues The Honky Tonk Blues Bar, Fremantle and The Alabama Song, Northbridge, as well as performing around the country at the famous Great Western Hotel, Rockhampton, Darwin Waterfront Top End Bull Spectacular, Northern Territory and Eaton’s Hill Rodeo, QLD.
