Autistic girls are often diagnosed much later than most boys, often mis-diagnosed and sometimes not at all. This live online workshop is brought to you by Children's Autism Foundation (now proudly integrated with Autism New Zealand) and is for parents, caregivers, whanau and any professionals who engage with children on the Autism Spectrum.

Understand more about autistic girls and how they may differ from boys.
Learn more about your child's diagnosis, how to recognise their unique strengths and celebrate their differences.
Learn tips & strategies to help girls to navigate life & school, especially those tricky adolescent/teenage years.
Share your experiences with other parents & caregivers who are going through similar challenges and highlights as you

Plus plenty of time for Q&A at the end of the session.

This workshop is a great opportunity to share experiences, ask questions, discuss issues, and learn from each other (or simply sit back, enjoy and gain a greater understanding of autistic girls).
Note: you are welcome to attend even if your child does not have an ASD diagnosis or if you are on the pathway to diagnosis.

Jo is a National Educator at Autism New Zealand. She is proud mum of three children, one of whom is Autistic. Jo is passionate about supporting Autistic children and their whanau to live their absolute best lives.
