Gen Green - Environ-mentality – A Nature Walk through Folland Park Reserve
Event description
Join our monthly youth gatherings for deep dives into climate change, sustainability, urban development, circular design and more! Get ready for interactive STEAM sessions that put together the pieces of transitioning to Net Zero and what lays beyond.
This session September is facilitated by David, our STEM Program and Learning Officer in the PAE Libraries. We will be outside of the library walls to explore Folland Park which is a slice of the original Adelaide Plains biodiversity, we will use iNaturalist to help us identify species and discuss biodiversity as a planetary boundary indicator. Also we hope to increase participants awareness of the projects PAE Council to manage its biodiversity responsibilities. This event also is part of Nature Festival activities!
Remember as part of being outdoors to wear appropriate clothing and enclosed footwear, apply sun protect as advised by the weather forecast on the day of this activity.
