Gen Green - Making Circular

Event description

Join our monthly youth gatherings for deep dives into climate change, sustainability, urban development, circular design and more! Get ready for interactive STEAM sessions that put together the pieces of transitioning to Net Zero and what lays beyond.

This January session is facilitated by David, our STEM Program and Learning Officer in the PAE Libraries. This session will look at Circular economy and circular design, while making a take home object using recovered t-shirt yearn into a crocheted basket. We will be able to explore the textiles industry as an example of changes that are coming and how it is possible to create pathways to shifting waste to recovery.
