Join our monthly youth gatherings for deep dives into climate change, sustainability, urban development, circular design and more! Get ready for interactive STEAM sessions that put together the pieces of transitioning to Net Zero and what lays beyond.
April session is facilitated by David and Robert, our STEM Program and Learning Officer in the PAE Libraries. Many community organisation and councils have set up Repair Cafes to help divert items from the waste stream by teaching people how to fix objects. We invite participants at this month's session to bring in an item that they are looking to repair, and we teach participants life skills in how to access what is wrong / broken and repair their items.
Please note that not all things can be repaired, but we can even help assess that as part of this session. Parents and Siblings are welcome to stick around if that makes participants more comfortable.
Snacks and drinks will be available to graze on for participants, hopefully we will have some fun and learn some stuff!
