Get ready to connect, laugh, and just be yourself at Transgender Victoria's Trans Social Club! This is your dedicated space to hang out with other transgender, gender diverse and non-binary people in Ballarat!
Our TGV team will be there to kick off different activities, spark conversations, and help you make some awesome new friends. Each week is a choose-your-own adventure, with plenty of time for you to chat, play board games, or get creative with arts and crafts.
Who's it for?
Transgender, gender diverse and non-binary folks.
The group is neurodivergent, POC, and all abilities friendly.
Participants must be 16 years and over.
What to expect:
Trans Social Club is facilitated by LJ (they/them), TGV's Peer Programs Facilitator and Kai (he/him), one of TGV's Peer Navigators. They will be there to guide the conversation and activities.
We will play games/ do activities together and then the second hour will be directed by you - it will be a chance to connect, play board games, do activities of your choice and/or arts and craft.
If your into board games - bring your favourite game to share with the group!
We have plenty of materials to craft with, otherwise feel free to bring your own!
Accessibility & COVID Safety: Your comfort and safety are important to us.
Mask-wearing is strongly encouraged, and we'll have spares if you need one.
We offer fidget toys if you need some.
Hand sanitiser is available.
