KPU’s Office of Equity and Inclusive Communities will host the Gender and Sexual Equity Symposium on Thursday, October 29, 2026.

Following on the success of our Annual Anti-Racism Symposiums, the Office of Equity and Inclusive Communities is proud to announce a new initiative and extend an invitation to our inaugural annual Gender and Sexual Equity Symposium.

In a time where hate towards 2SLGBTQIA+ folks is ever growing, we hope to centre queer joy by bringing together community members and engaging in meaningful dialogue. The half-day event will feature sharing of ideas about equity and centering the perspectives of trans and queer people.
